Qashqai 360 arrives at Polesworth Garage!

A New Qashqai 360 model has been added to Nissans Popular SUV Range.

The 360 specification slots into the line up between the Acenta and Tekna Models and replaces the N Tec + Spec. It may cost £19945 the same as the outgoing N Tec + grade but it features more equipment and is ON SALE NOW!!!

The 360 builds on the strength of the current range of which has produced 1.4million to date and takes its name from the inclusion of Nissan 360 Around View Monitor system, which integrates Sat Nav with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, along with Four Cameras to give a “Helicopter View” when parking.

The new 360 camera should mean the end of driver induced parking errors which should prevent insurance premiums rising.

Using four separate wide angle cameras at the front, rear and side mirrors, the integrated 5″ Nissan Connect touch screen monitor displays an image of the vehicle from above. This helps to confirm the position of the vehicles within the lines of the parking space, which will mean that the driver can position the vehicle for parallel parking or park the car in a smart way. to see just how effective this is click here to view the camera in action

The camera also helps drivers protect their alloy wheels by helping them to align the wheels away from the kerbs and avoid damage.

As well as the around view monitor other features of the 360 model include 18″ machine finish black alloy wheels, a luxurious panoramic roof, rear privacy glass and gloss black roof rails and door mirror caps. The 360 also features part leather upholstery, gloss plastic interior trim and is available in all existing Qashqai colours. Customers will also be able to opt for a new Storm White pearlescent paint finish as a £500 optional extra.

The Nissan Qashqai 360 is expected to become the most popular version in the range. The previous N Tec+ car accounted for around 60 per cent of UK Qashqai sales and alone outsold all Kia Sportage and Hyundai ix35 models combined in the UK.

Nissan predicts that most customers will opt for the Qashqai powered by Nissan’s 1.6DCI engine, which features stop-start to help it achieve CO2 emissions figures of 119g/km and return a claimed average of 62.8mpg.
